Why Yourdog Tibetan Spaniel

Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the Tibetan Spaniel Contains echinacea, fenugreek and cranberry Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Tibetan Spaniel

Our ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Tibetan Spaniel specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Tibetan Spaniel. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Tibetan Spaniel belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Tibetan Spaniel.

Echinacea

Echinacea comes from the daisy family (Asteraceae), which is native to eastern North America. A number of plants from this family are said to have medicinal properties. The plant is associated with strengthening the immune system and respiratory infections.

Research has shown that echinacea can have anti-inflammatory effects in dogs. Blood tests have also shown that it has a positive effect on the health and resistance of dogs. For example, it can relieve cold symptoms such as a runny nose and cough.

At Yourdog, we add Echinacea to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to strengthening the dog's immune system and contributing to overall health.

fenugreek

Like peas, fenugreek is a plant from the legume family. The plant is also called fenugreek or "Greek hay". It originally comes from Mesopotamia and was already known in the Mediterranean region in ancient times. Nowadays fenugreek is also grown in Central Asia.

Fenugreek is rich in iron and copper. Fenugreek contains saponin and coumarins, which can help with vein problems. It also has anti-inflammatory properties (natural anti-inflammatories) and promotes bile production.

Fenugreek can be added to food to prevent arthritis, asthma and skin problems. The stomach and intestines also benefit from the positive effects of fenugreek and support healthy digestion.

cranberry

The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have arrived in the Netherlands around 1845.

Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give a dog's health a powerful boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes the urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive to bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures a longer feeling of satiety.

Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints, including those relating to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions.

Advice on shifting gears

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend that you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can feed 100% Yourdog. The food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub separately, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, which should be closed as tightly as possible.
