Why Yourdog Petit Brabançon
Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the Petit Brabançon Contains apple, celery and cranberries Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Petit BrabançonOur ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our pellet. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Petit Brabançon specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Petit Brabançon. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Petit Brabançon belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that optimally serve the health and well-being of the Petit Brabançon.
Apple
The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus, from which the hand apples known especially in the northern hemisphere come. The apple grows in temperate regions.
Dietary fiber has a wide range of effects in the digestive tract. It is able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and supple. Dietary fiber also increases the volume in the intestine. This not only stimulates intestinal activity, but also ensures thorough elimination of waste products.
Apples are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support healthy intestinal flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the food and apples are low in calories.
Rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is good for skin and coat and strengthens the immune system. Vitamin C ensures the development of muscles and bones in infancy.
celery
Celery is a plant from the Apiaceae family. The plant is often found on moist soil along the coast.
Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folate and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber and very low in calories.
We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune system and digestive system. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function through vitamin A, and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.
cranberry
The cranberry is a plant from the heather family. In the Netherlands, the plant is mainly found on the Wadden Islands and is very rare in the rest of the country. The plant originally comes from North America and is said to have arrived in the Netherlands around 1845.
Cranberries contain a unique blend of nutrients that can give a dog's health a powerful boost. The berries are rich in minerals such as potassium, which ensures a healthy fluid balance in the body. These berries are also rich in vitamins A, B and C, as well as antioxidants to support the immune system. Vitamin C makes the urine more acidic, making the environment in the bladder less attractive to bacteria. The addition of cranberries can also have a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. The healthy fiber in cranberries has a positive effect on digestion and ensures a longer feeling of satiety.
Cranberry is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints, including those relating to digestion, skin, joints, bones and nerve functions.

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend that you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then feed 100% Yourdog. During this time, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub separately, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, which should be closed as tightly as possible.
