Why Yourdog Labradoodle
Rich in buffalo and poultrySpecially made for the LabradoodleContains dog rose, nettle and tomatoPromotes a healthy, shiny coatMaintains a healthy intestinal floraFree from artificial colors, flavors and fragrancesAlso suitable for sensitive LabradoodlesOur ingredients
To make our food, we dry 10.6 kg of meat for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins of the poultry ensure good muscle development and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provides your dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Labradoodle-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Labradoodle. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Labradoodle belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Labradoodle.
dog rose
The dog rose grows naturally in Europe and can reach a height of up to four meters. The rose blooms in June and July and the flowers are usually light pink or sometimes white.
The plant contains a lot of vitamin C and is also rich in vitamins A and B, various minerals and antioxidants. For Yourdog we add dog rose because it can support the immune system and prevent infections.
nettle
The nettle is a genus of plants, of which the large nettle and the small nettle are found in the Netherlands and Belgium. The nettle is known for its cleansing and blood-purifying properties. According to various sources, the nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.
Nettle supports liver and kidney function by stimulating the elimination of waste products. It also supports the dog's bladder and hair growth.
The nettle also contains silica, or silicon. It is a building material that is a component of the connective tissue of bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of skin (cells) and ensures that skin is maintained in good health.
We at Yourdog add nettle to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to preventing breed-specific problems with the dog's coat, skin and bones, as well as digestive and/or bladder problems.
tomato
The tomato belongs to the nightshade family and is descended from the tomato plant, which originally comes from Mesoamerica. Smaller varieties were cultivated in Mesoamerica by the Aztecs and the Mayans. In 1893, it was decided in America to consider the fruit a vegetable.
At Yourdog we use tomatoes on a culinary level and treat them like vegetables.
Tomatoes are rich in nutrients, low in calories and high in soluble fiber, which aids digestion. Tomatoes also contain lycopene, which gives them their red color. The redder a tomato, the more lycopene it contains. Not only does it give the tomato its red color, but it is also known as a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that lycopene can protect against cancer and help with cardiovascular disease, among other things. In addition, tomatoes contain a lot of vitamin C and vitamin A and B complexes, which can contribute to healthy skin and an improved immune system.
The tomato is added to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints relating to digestion, skin, vision and cardiovascular diseases. In addition, it can have a general cleansing effect on the body.

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend that you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then feed 100% Yourdog. During this time, the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub separately, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, which should be closed as tightly as possible.
