Our ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.

These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

We have carefully researched the breed-specific characteristics of the Billy. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Billy belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of Billy.

chamomile

We can add chamomile to Yourdog because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints relating to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

fennel

Fennel is a plant in the Apiaceae family and is recognizable by its aniseed flavor. The threadlike branches of the leaves are often used as an herb and the seeds as a spice. These seeds have been known for centuries for their medicinal properties.

Like many herbs and seeds, fennel is rich in various vitamins and minerals. It contains lots of vitamins A and C as well as the minerals iron and potassium.

To make the right choice between our Billy dog ​​foods, you can follow the guidelines below. If your Billy is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a Billy older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog Billy senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

conversion instructions

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend the following steps. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. You can then give 100% Yourdog. After 100% of the food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food in the tub one by one, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, closing it as well as possible.
