Why Yourdog Clumber Spaniel
Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the Clumber Spaniel Contains chondroitin, apple and banana Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial flavors, colors and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Clumber SpanielOur ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag, so that it is better processed in our chunks. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruits and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Clumber Spaniel-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Clumber Spaniel. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Clumber Spaniel belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Clumber Spaniel.
chondroitin
Chondroitin occurs naturally in the dog's body and is one of the main components of cartilage tissue. In dogs, chondroitin is able to attract and bind moisture, which should lead to a spongy suspension of the cartilage.
Chondroitin improves the flexibility of the cartilage and also has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. It also stimulates the production of the building blocks that ensure healthy cartilage.
When chondroitin is administered in combination with glucosamine, it supports and enhances the effects of glucosamine. It is therefore often administered as a dietary supplement for people and animals suffering from osteoarthritis.
Apple
The apple tree is a tree of the genus Malus, from which the hand apples known especially in the northern hemisphere come. The apple grows in temperate regions.
Dietary fiber has a wide range of effects in the digestive tract. It is able to absorb moisture, making the stool soft and supple. Dietary fiber also increases the volume in the intestine. This not only stimulates intestinal activity, but also ensures thorough elimination of waste products.
Apples are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. In addition, apples are rich in pectin. Pectin is a soluble fiber that helps support healthy intestinal flora. It also contributes to the palatability of the food and apples are low in calories.
Rich in vitamins A and C. Vitamin A is good for skin and coat and strengthens the immune system. Vitamin C ensures the development of muscles and bones in infancy.
banana
The banana plant grows in tropical regions where temperatures do not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana was already cultivated in New Guinea around 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word Œbanaana from the language of the Wolof people.
Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. These include vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant vitamin C can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, while magnesium can relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, bananas contain a lot of good fiber and ensure more good bacteria in the gut.

If you are switching from another brand of food to Yourdog, we recommend the following steps. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can give 100% Yourdog. The food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food in the tub one by one, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, closing it as well as possible.
