Why Yourdog Danish Farm Dog
Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the Danish Farm Dog Contains basil, mango and celery Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for sensitive Danish Farm DogsOur ingredients
To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried in a 12 kg bag to make it easier to process in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range, grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories, making it very beneficial for your health.
poultry
At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.
Vegetables
To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.
Fruit
We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.
Herbs
The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.
Dog-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits from the Danish farm
We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Danish Farm Dog. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Danish Farm Dog belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that are optimal for the health and well-being of the Danish Farm Dog.
basil
Basil is a genus in the family Lamiaceae. The name comes from ancient Greek, where Œbasileus means king, so the alternative name is royal herb. It is native to Central Africa and Southeast Asia.
In traditional medicine, basil has been used to treat arthritis, bronchitis, the common cold, stomach ulcers, heart disease, and stomach pain, among other conditions. Research has shown that basil has powerful antioxidant, antiviral, and antimicrobial properties. In addition, basil can aid digestion, aid in the elimination of waste, and have an antispasmodic and calming effect on dogs.
mango
The mango belongs to the genus Mangifera and probably originates from northeast India and southeast Asia. It is a stone fruit with different shapes and grows on a tree that can grow up to 40 meters tall.
This tasty summer treat is packed with important vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamins A, B6, C and E and is rich in potassium, beta-carotene and alpha-carotene. Mangoes also contain plenty of healthy fiber, which helps strengthen the immune system and digestive organs. The natural antioxidant (vitamin C) helps support vital body functions. Vitamin A is rich in beta-carotene, which can help maintain and improve vision.
We add mango to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's resistance and healthy digestion. In addition, mango can support dogs' eyesight.
celery
Celery is a plant from the Apiaceae family. The plant is often found on moist soil along the coast.
Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folate and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber and very low in calories.
We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune system and digestive system. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function through vitamin A, and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend that you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can feed 100% Yourdog. The food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub separately, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, which should be closed as tightly as possible.
