Description

Yourdog Boerboel cares about the holistic health and wellbeing of your dog. All Yourdog contains tasty buffalo and chicken meat. We combine this with carefully selected vegetables, fruits and herbs to create the perfect diet for your Boerboel.

Why Yourdog Boerboel

Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for Boerboel Contains chamomile, parsley and celery Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for the sensitive Boerboel

Our ingredients

To make our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our pellet. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific complaints can be reduced by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Boerboel-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the Boerboel. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the Boerboel belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the Boerboel.

chamomile

Chamomile is a genus of the daisy family. Chamomile is widely cultivated in Hungary and Eastern Europe. It also grows wild throughout Europe. The name chamomile comes from the Greek and means "ground apple" and refers to its apple scent. Chamomile enjoys an excellent reputation in natural medicine.

We can add chamomile to Yourdog because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints relating to the stomach, intestines, skin, rheumatism, nerves, inflammation and urinary tract.

Chamomile can have a slightly calming effect on the dog and can therefore be used on dogs that are often stressed. In addition, it can have a positive effect on dogs with nervous digestion. It can have a decongestant and antiseptic effect.

Parsley

Parsley is a biennial, hardy, herbaceous plant in the Apiaceae family. Parsley has been used as a medicinal herb for hundreds of years. There are dozens of diseases that parsley fights. According to various sources, it cures diarrhea, anemia and ear infections, among others. It contains more iron than, for example, spinach. Parsley also contains other minerals such as silicon, as well as vitamins B and C and carotene.

At Yourdog, we add parsley to dog food because it could make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific problems related to blood, heart and kidneys.

Parsley is a natural source of vitamins C, A and K. This can have an effect on the immune system and eyes, but also on the cardiovascular system and liver. Parsley also has anti-inflammatory properties and can act as a diuretic, keeping the dog's bladder free of impurities.

celery

Celery is a plant from the Apiaceae family. The plant is often found on moist soil along the coast.

Celery is rich in vitamins A, C and K, but also contains a lot of folate and potassium. In addition, celery is fat-free, high in fiber and very low in calories.

We add celery to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to supporting the dog's immune system and digestive system. It can also have a positive effect on skin and coat, muscle and nerve function through vitamin A, and the maintenance of strong bones through vitamin K.

conversion instructions

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend the following steps. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can give 100% Yourdog. The food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food in the tub one by one, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, closing it as well as possible.
