Description

Yourdog German Terrier cares about the holistic health and well-being of your dog. All Yourdog contains tasty buffalo and chicken meat. We combine this with carefully selected vegetables, fruits and herbs to create the perfect food for your German Terrier.

Why Yourdog German Terrier

Rich in buffalo and poultry Specially made for the German Terrier Contains nettle, banana and raspberry Promotes a healthy, shiny coat Maintains a healthy intestinal flora Free from artificial colors, flavors and fragrances Also suitable for sensitive German Terriers

Our ingredients

To produce our food, 10.6 kg of meat is dried for a 12 kg bag so that it can be better processed in our dry food. With the right proportion of vegetables, fruit and herbs, Yourdog uses meat from free-range and grass-fed buffalo. Buffalo meat is known for its creamy, fresh taste and strong color and is rich in vitamins and minerals. This tender meat has a lower cholesterol and fat content and fewer calories and is therefore very beneficial to health.

poultry

At Yourdog we use duck, chicken and turkey, which together give the food a delicious taste and aroma. The highly digestible proteins in poultry ensure good muscle building and are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vegetables

To provide the dog with additional valuable nutrients, super-healthy vegetables have been added to our food. Vegetables, for example, are not only nutritious, but also have other healthy properties. The raw fiber in vegetables is good for the intestines and can, among other things, promote digestion.

Fruit

We add a unique combination of fruits to Yourdog that provide the dog with all the essential natural antioxidants. For example, fruit can be good for the dog's immune system, but it can also help keep breath fresh or maintain a healthy digestive system. These natural ingredients promote the dog's health.

Herbs

The healthy herbs that enrich our food come from plants grown in Europe. The use of herbs, roots, flowers, plants, algae, etc. has a tradition that goes back thousands of years. These ingredients support the natural processes in the dog's body, such as digestion. Each ingredient that we add to our dog food has been carefully selected for its positive properties. The ingredients are highlighted depending on the size of the dog, the breed or the breed group. Breed-specific ailments can be alleviated by using herbs, roots, flowers and plants.

Terrier-specific vegetables, herbs and fruits

We have carefully researched the breed characteristics of the German Terrier. We have also researched the characteristics of the FCI breed section and the FCI breed group to which the German Terrier belongs. From these studies, in consultation with leading Dutch nutritionists, ingredients were selected that have an optimal effect on the health and well-being of the German Terrier.

nettle

The nettle is a genus of plants, of which the large nettle and the small nettle are found in the Netherlands and Belgium. The nettle is known for its cleansing and blood-purifying properties. According to various sources, the nettle is bactericidal and therefore very suitable for infectious diseases. The leaves are also suitable for diarrhea or other digestive disorders.

Nettle supports liver and kidney function by stimulating the elimination of waste products. It also supports the dog's bladder and hair growth.

The nettle also contains silica or silicon. It is a building material that is part of the connective tissue of bones, tendons, ligaments, skin, hair and nails. Silicon supports the natural production of skin (cells) and ensures healthy skin.

At Yourdog, we add nettle to our dog food because it can make a positive contribution to the prevention of breed-specific complaints regarding the dog's coat, skin and bones, as well as the prevention of digestive and/or urinary tract problems.

banana

The banana plant grows in tropical regions where temperatures do not fall below 10 degrees Celsius. There is even evidence that the banana was cultivated in New Guinea around 7,000 years ago. The name is derived from the word Œbanaana from the language of the Wolof people.

Bananas are rich in vitamins and minerals. These include vitamins A, C and B11 (folic acid) as well as the minerals potassium, magnesium, iron and zinc. The natural antioxidant vitamin C can strengthen the immune system. Vitamin B11, or folic acid, can support the immune system and contribute to a well-functioning nervous system. It can also reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Potassium can also help lower blood pressure in dogs with high blood pressure, while magnesium can relax muscles and promote bone growth. In addition, bananas contain a lot of good fiber and ensure more good bacteria in the gut.

raspberries

The raspberry is a plant from the rose family and belongs to the genus Rubus. The cultivation of raspberries dates back to the Middle Ages and is naturally widespread throughout Europe.

Raspberries contain many substances that can support the health of the dog, such as vitamins such as vitamin C, minerals such as manganese and antioxidants. Raspberries are also low in sugar and calories and rich in good fiber.

Raspberries are added to our dog food for their anti-inflammatory properties and can make a positive contribution to the functioning of the immune system. Raspberries can also help maintain vision and a healthy cardiovascular system.

Puppy, adult or senior?

To make the right choice between the different types of terrier food, you can follow the following advice. If your German Terrier is younger than 11 months, choose the Puppy variant. For a German Terrier older than 7 years, we recommend Yourdog German terrier senior. If your dog is older than 11 months and younger than 7 years, you can choose the Adult variant.

Advice on shifting gears

If you are switching to Yourdog from another brand of food, we recommend that you follow the steps below. As a first step, feed 25% Yourdog and 75% of the old dog food. The dog can get used to it for two days. Then feed 50% Yourdog and 50% of the old food. It is important that you let the dog get used to it again for two or three days. Then mix 75% Yourdog and 25% of the old dog food. The dog is now almost completely on Yourdog. Do this for 2 days. After that, you can feed 100% Yourdog. The food is exposed to oxygen, moisture and light, which can affect its shelf life and taste. Therefore, it is important to store the food properly after opening the bag, preferably in an airtight storage box or barrel in a dry, cool and dark place. It is best not to put the food into the tub separately, but to put it in the tub with the whole bag, which should be closed as tightly as possible.
