Trixie The Reptiland Coco Fibre 9 litre Cocopeat is a ground cover for terrariums with reptiles or spiders and environments where high humidity is desired, such as with some lizards or snakes. This natural, organic product expands to seven to eight times its own weight when water is added. The coconut fibre retains moisture very well and for a long time, making it perfect for use in rainforest terrariums, humid shelters and other environments where the humidity must be constantly high. Of course, it is also possible to let the soil dry for longer and use it in drier terrariums. Due to its soft structure, the coconut fibre is comfortable for the animal and there is no chance of it swallowing large chunks when catching prey.
