Description
Puur NatuurPseudopregnancy 50 ml
To change the mood and symptoms during and after heat in dogs and rabbits.
Supplementary feed for cats, dogs, rodents.
Composition:
Extracts of sage (Salvia officinalis) and oats (Avena sativa). Diluted extract of devil's dung (Asa foetida). Alcohol 29% v/v.
Indication(s):
For optimal hormonal balance in the bitch and to prevent various types of pregnancy.
Although many of our dogs no longer resemble the wild wolf, the essence of many dog behaviors has remained the same as that of their wild ancestors. One of these legacies is that many modern domestic dogs, even when they do not live in a pack and there is no alpha female to assist with lactation (the original purpose of pseudopregnancy in the wolf pack), exhibit the same pseudopregnancy behavior.
The first thing that is often noticed is that bitches start to behave differently when they are in heat. In animals that have been fertilized, the progesterone level begins to rise from this period onwards; the same thing happens in unfertilized pseudo-sexually mature bitches. After delivery, this progesterone level drops again and the hormone prolactin ensures that milk production begins. This hormone also influences the behaviour of bitches.
Many pregnant bitches tend to withdraw or even build a den, they become snappy, eat less well and are less likely to go outside. Other bitches are very affectionate or very squeamish.
Some bitches even look for replacement children and drag anything that could be mistaken for a puppy, such as socks, slippers or toys, into their "nest".
A miscarriage can be a very unpleasant time, both for the dog and the owner.
Pregnancy alone normalizes the abnormal behavior of the bitch during this time.

Rabbit: 3-5 drops
1ml = 20 drops.
The product can be given directly or with a little water into the mouth using a plastic spoon or syringe. If necessary, it can be dripped onto something tasty. Administer PUUR Shining Pregnant at least half an hour before or after a meal so that it can be absorbed by the clean oral mucosa. Start administering PUUR Schijnzwanger at the end of the heat and continue the product until the moment when the pseudopregnancy would normally be over. In the case of very severe pseudopregnancy, it may be advisable to start using PUUR Schijnzwanger while the bitch is still in heat. If PUUR Shining Pregnant is used at the time when a bitch shows signs of pseudopregnancy, the medication should take effect after about 3 days to a week. If no effect is noticed, the dose should be increased to a maximum of double.
PUUR Miserly can be used safely in combination with other medicines.
In some cases, a harmless and short-term worsening of symptoms may occur when you first start taking the drops. This indicates that the animal is reacting intensely to the medication. If this worsening is annoying, you should halve the recommended dose for your animal or skip a dose once. If you notice any side effects, please report them to your veterinarian or therapist.
Instructions for use Start administering PUUR Miserly at the end of the heat period. PUUR Mock Pregnancy is administered to the rabbit if necessary.
duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If improvement occurs, continue administering this product for a few days.
In cases of long-term complaints, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. In case of improvement, a maintenance dose can be changed to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When administering this product, pay attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be required at the beginning, this product can be safely administered in double dosage. Gradually reduce the dose to the lowest possible dose.
This product can be administered continuously (rabbits). It is advisable to insert a stop week every 6 to 8 weeks. In this way, the "stimulus" can be offered again after the stop week. If necessary, resume treatment immediately.
