Composition:
per 3 grams, 2085 mg psyllium husk, 626 mg methylsulfonylmethane, 104 mg bentonite, 60 mg N-acetyl glucosamine, 8.1 mg magnesium (as citrate), Enterococcus faecium and fructo oligo saccharides. A dilution of magnesium phosphoricum.
Indication(s):
For well-functioning intestines. For loose stools due to a viral or bacterial infection or poor diet. In case of constipation.
Properties per ingredient: Psyllium Husk has the property of being able to absorb a lot of moisture. In the case of small stools, it absorbs excess intestinal fluid and in the case of constipation, it softens the intestinal contents if it absorbs enough water. Psyllium Husk also has a neutralizing effect on toxins in the intestines.
Methylsulfonylmethane is an organic sulfur and - in addition to its importance as a mineral building block - very important for detoxification processes in the body.
Bentonite binds toxins and heavy metals so that they can be excreted in the feces.
N-acetyl-glucosamine is an important building block for the intestinal mucosa and contributes to the rapid regeneration of the intestinal wall.
Magnesium (as citrate) and magnesium phosphoricum have an antispasmodic effect; in addition, the need for magnesium is increased in loose stools.
Enterococcus faecium probiotics are good intestinal bacteria. The bacterial strains are protected so that they can pass through the stomach without being killed by the heartburn. Good intestinal bacteria are very important for good absorption of nutrients and optimal resistance. These good intestinal bacteria reduce the acidity in the intestine. They produce substances that fight pathogenic bacteria and thus reduce the risk of intestinal infections. In addition, they contribute to good food digestion by producing enzymes and produce short-chain fatty acids, a very important nutrient for intestinal cells. Good condition of intestinal cells is necessary to prevent pathogens from entering the bloodstream through the intestinal wall. The development of allergies is also associated with excessive permeability of the intestinal wall.
Dosage and application:

The optimal dosage is 2 x daily:
Dog > 25 kg 2 scoops
Dog 10-25 kg 1½ scoops
Dog < 10 kg and cat 1 measuring spoon
1 measuring spoon contains about 3 grams.
If in practice it is difficult to administer this product several times a day, it is sufficient to administer it once a day or once every 2 days. Then give the maximum dose of one day. Even then this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.
Administration Can be administered via food. Moisten the food or powder to prevent it from being blown out of the feed trough. In case of constipation, give with plenty of water and ensure that there is always plenty of fresh drinking water available.
Instructions for use If your dog or cat does not tolerate the product, you can administer the powder with meat, fish, yoghurt or other food. Always use good quality food.
How long does treatment with this product last? The effects of the treatment should definitely be visible after 1 to 2 days. In case of an acute complaint, the treatment period is relatively short. This can vary between 1 and 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few days after the complaint has disappeared. In case of a chronic condition, the treatment period is longer. After the complaints have subsided, you can switch to a maintenance dose. This is usually half the dosage indicated on the packaging. When administering this product, pay attention to the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be required at the beginning, this product can safely be given in double the dosage. Gradually reduce the dose when the symptoms have subsided or disappeared to the lowest possible dose. This product can be given permanently in chronic complaints.
Storage Avoid direct sunlight and store this product in a dry place at a temperature between 5-20°C. Keep out of reach of children.
Synergies and combinations with other products This product can be used safely in combination with other natural health products and regular medications. In case of food hypersensitivities and allergies, the use of PUUR probiotics is recommended. The use of PUUR probiotics is also recommended in case of long-term digestive problems, this can be combined well with PUUR Digestion. In case of loose stools, use in combination with PUUR Diarrhoea for the intestinal wall.
