Pressed food is food with a very high nutritional value because, as the word suggests, it is pressed. These pieces are all cold pressed and retain their high nutritional value and good intestinal absorption precisely because they are not exposed to excessively high temperatures.
Pressed kibbles are ideal in combination with fresh meat, as the digestion of pressed kibbles and meat is almost identical. With this piece, the meat can even be mixed with the piece if desired. Please note, however, that once a dog gets used to always having something under the food, it is unlikely that it will want to eat the food without meat.
These pressed kibbles can be used by dogs who are often fed meat, who have a sensitive stomach and intestines, or who are allergic to certain grains such as wheat.
The pressed feed without gluten has a high absorption rate due to its excellent raw materials and only needs to be fed very little. You should weigh the chunks and not exceed the recommended amount of feed in the initial phase.
When switching from expanded kibble to compressed kibble, you should first eat the previous kibble completely and then carefully start with the compressed kibble. On the first day give 1/3 of his required amount, on the second day give 2/3 of his required amount and if that goes well, from the third day give his normal portion as indicated in the feeding table. Be sure to weigh this food as it is naturally very heavy, which makes the amount seem less than it is!
