Description
The special feed for all ornamental water birds in ponds, petting zoos, city parks, zoos and in the wild. Ornamental water birds include all types of ducks (wild and dwarf ducks or ornamental ducks), geese and swans. Taking into account the needs of the animals at every stage of development, there is a feeding system that, when used correctly, promotes good rearing, plumage and production.
KFF duck pellets are a supplementary feed for waterfowl.
- Pure grain mixture of whole wheat, corn, sorghum (millet grain) and millet
- Recommended for waterfowl such as mallards, runner ducks, ornamental ducks, geese and swans
- As a supplement to a complete feed, maximum 25% of the daily ration, on land or in a container under water
- It goes without saying that you should provide sufficient fresh, clean drinking water, as ornamental water birds need a lot of it!
- Always provide sufficient stomach gravel and, especially during the breeding season, grit as needed.
- Give duck grain especially during the moulting season for additional energy and to reduce the protein content of Anseres Floating or Anseres Sea duck pellets in autumn and winter.
- Duck grains can be fed in bowls under water (± 10 cm depth).
