Description
The feeding station:
Feeding can begin as soon as it starts to freeze. Scatter the food on the ground in open places so that the birds do not run the risk of being eaten by cats lurking among the bushes. Another option is to place a feeding board or a feeder/tube attached to a branch with a rope, to which the cats can only look up with great taste. Place the feeding board in a sunny and windless place, preferably so that you can keep an eye on it from behind the window. Make sure there is a shelter above the feeding board so that the food does not get wet or disappear under a snow shower. It is also not interesting to place the feeding rack near large trees, gazebos, pergolas, etc. where cats can jump off.
